Singer songwriter Sean Feeney is from Oakland California. Having an early interest in music and radio and records, he first picked up the banjo at age 6 by the age of eight he settled on trumpet. which he played through high school. Songs like Elton John's saturday night 's allright for fightin' and Aerosmith's "walk this way" inspired him to buy an electric guitar and amp after a summer construction job at age 15. With an interest in writing that really took off after graduating from San Francisco State with a degree in voice, and influenced by artists such as The Beatles , Johnny Cash, Carter Family, Woodie Gutherie, the Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan ,

he has honed his skills ever since; continuing to explore the combinations of prose, story, music and melody. Sean is especially attracted to american folk and blues rock. Siting contemporary inspirations as Sharon Van Etton, Wilco, and Jack White. Though he has been a fan of all music including heavy metal and hip hop. He states his mom's exposing him to early american music like

Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt and others that has brought him to settle in a combination of hard 

and more traditional styles, wanting to bring a relevant to the times experience. 



The latest news? Sean is currently working on an album with the help of Drummer Michael Urbano,(smash mouth, cracker ) Bassist Matt Malley ( counting crows )

 and guitarist session kings Ladd Smith and Jude Gold. Slated for release This December 2012.
